I finished 5 more tags. Doing the tag book is so much fun. Will have to wait until 2008 to do some more.

Play Day

Well today was a play day. Went to my friend Pat's studio and played. Her studio is wonderful. This picture is only a little part of the studio. You name it she has it. I think she has every stamp ever made and more inks than a stamp store. If you want to dye fabric she has Procion, Dyna Flo, Setacolor. Here is a picture of Barbara making some fabric paper. It really turned out great.

This is Pat. She is making an Alice in Wonderland Collage. I can't wait to see it when it is done.
I was playing with Gesso. Used Gesso on everthing I could get my hands on. Once the book I am doing is done I will post a picture.

Textile Arts

One more post and I will go do some art. But thought I would at least show that my heart belongs to textiles.....and since they are becoming a mixed media art form, I can add other arts that I enjoy. I did do a watercolor accordian book and didn't sew a thing.

Mixed Media

There are so many wonderful groups that I belong to and am learning so much from them. I am currently a member of the Artist Circle and we have been doing a tag book. Here is one of the tags that I have done. I shouldn't have added so much to it, but I just kept adding more until I thought I really better stop.

Well, I thought I would start a blog, seems like everyone has one. This will probably be a real short posting as I have to learn what I am doing. Hopefully I will get in the swing of things and be able to post a little each day
